Enhancing security of a global software company by performing a security perimeter audit.

Client Context: The client is a global software company in the control systems space with branch offices across the world. Their network infrastructure included dedicated WAN for voice and data, Internet connectivity, E-mail, and voice message facilities and devices like Router, Firewall, VPN and a Network Intrusion Detection System available at the perimeter.

The Requirement: The client wanted a perimeter Security Audit to be performed so as to improve the security and included the following:
