Remote Infrastructure Management services for an International Telco
Customer Context : Our customer is a International Telco with presence in over 15 countries and more than 40 points of presence (POP). They had WAN Muxes including IGX, MGX with over 200 customers. The customer provides multiple services including FR, ATM, IP VPN, IPLC's.
The Requirement : The customer decide to strategically migrate the NOC operations off-shore. The primary reason for this was to reduce operations costs in the fiercely competitive telecom market. The requirements included re-look at the OSS architecture with a view to consolidate and ensure better insight to customers through the Customer Service portal.
The Solution : Netsol assisted with the migration of complete NOC services of the customer to Netsol's Global Management Center (GMC) at Bangalore , India . The approach was as follows:
